Maternity Services

The Midwives are now based at Spring Meadows Children Centre. You can ring them on 0161 770 8800

 

NHS Health Checks (patients aged 40 - 74)

 

Our HCA runs NHS Health Checks every Friday morning by appointment only. Our HCA sends invites to all eligible patients.

 

Over 65 Health Checks

 

If you are aged over 65 then you are eligible for an over 65 health check. Any of our Nurses can see patients for this.

 

Carers Health Checks

 

Health checks are provided to all carers, these can be booked at any time with one of our Nurses.

 

Joint Injections

 

Dr Coates offers joint injections by appointment only.

 

Family Planning

 

The Practice provides a full range of family planning and treatment during normal surgery times this includes emergency contraception.

 

Sexual Heath Clinic

 

Dr Makojnik runs a full sexual health clinic every Friday afternoon by appointment only.

 

MIND Counsellor


Please ask at reception.


Drugs Counsellors


Counsellors are in surgery once a week. Appointments can be made by contacting Turning Point.


Translation Services


Please ask at reception if you require an interpreter.

 

Child Health Surveillance

 

The Practice offers full developmental assessment and immunisation programmes.

 

Minor Surgery

 

Run by Dr. Saraf, for the treatment/removal of moles, skin tags etc.

 

COPD Clinic

 

Run by Michelle and Sharon by appointment.

 

Other Clinics - Hypertension, Asthma, Healthy Heart etc.

 

We can offer you an appointment with one of our Nursing staff. Please ask at Reception.

 

Diabetic Clinic

 

Run by Michelle and Sharon by appointment.

 

Vaccination for Foreign Travel

 

Both of our Practice Nurses are qualified and experienced to advise you of your requirements for travel vaccination. Please allow at least six weeks before travel to organise and complete your vaccination course.

 

Flu Vaccination

 

This is advised for patients with heart, lung, kidney disease or diabetes, for residents of nursing and retirement homes, carers and for people over the age of 65. Please contact the surgery during September for details of vaccination clinics.
